Next time I visit with my boys we’ll have to sit by the fire pit that StoneFire Grill has out on the patio, and order this hunk of goodness. They also serve a warm Whole Roasted Cauliflower drizzled with lemon tahini, and chopped parsley. I can easily see myself eating a big bowl of this fresh salad all summer long. By far, this was my favorite of the new items. The salad is served cold so the sweetness of the roasted cauliflower blends nicely with the vinaigrette cooling the palate. The heat from the serrano hit nicely at the back of the tongue without the bite that one usually expects with this type of chile. I love my veggies, so I was eager to try out their new Roasted Cauliflower salad with green onions and tomatoes tossed in a lemon tahini dressing, along with cilantro serrano dressing. I was excited to sample Stonefire Grill’s new menu items. Plus, their menu takes me fondly back to our camping trips with rustic items such as barbeque tri-tip, cowboy beans, and peanut coleslaw. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Stonefire Grill in Pasadena (at Hastings Ranch) is one of our favorite places to “come home to”. Fridays are extra special – we let someone else do the cooking for us. No matter how good (or bad) of a day I had at work, I always look forward to the comfort of home at the end of each day.
